I wear size 41 shoes and my ankle is relatively slim, I took the small (according to the manufacturer's chart) and it is extremely tight.. if you wear it and fasten it where the velcro is, it squeezes you unnaturally much. Disappointment despite the many good reviews.

Ok, I got it for hiking because I have an ankle issue, I can't step on it after 10 km... on a route I did at Chortiatis off road it kept my foot fully stable as if I never had an issue at all
