The Aten VS162 video splitter duplicates and enhances a DVI video and audio signal to two DVI outputs. It supports DVI-Digital and DVI-Analog formats, as well as Single Link resolutions up to 1920 x 1200. DDC, DDC2 and DDC2B support is available only on port 1, while DDC/CI lets you adjust the color, brightness and contrast of compatible LCD monitors through a graphical interface.

The splitter supports HDCP and can be cascaded across up to 3 levels to distribute up to 8 video signals. For cascaded connections, the distance from the source to the device is 1.8 m, and the distance between devices or from a device to a monitor is up to 5 m.
