The card works perfectly overall, except for the range. Easy installation, plug n' play on Windows that automatically finds drivers, dual channel for 2.4 and 5GHz, no disconnections and speeds at the limits of perfection... IF you don't have obstacles or if you are relatively close to the Wi-Fi source. If you are several meters away and there are walls between the router and the computer, then it starts to struggle and cuts your speeds. I have it on a desktop computer with a distance of 8 meters from the router with a single wall (with a door) in between, and it reduces my speeds to at least 1/3. The funny thing is that it has such a weak signal that if a person sits in front of the tower (the body somewhat blocks the signal) or if I slightly turn the tower towards a different direction, then the speeds drop to desperate levels. And it's not a router issue. I tried two different USB Wi-Fi antennas (one tp-link and one d-link) in the same setup, and both worked with almost perfect signal and speeds. Other than that, even with low speeds, I have to say that it never disconnected. So, although I generally wouldn't recommend it if the computer is next to the router, you won't have a problem. On the other hand, if your computer is next to the router, just connect an ethernet cable to be covered.
Η κάρτα λειτουργεί άψογα γενικά αν εξαιρέσεις το εύρος λήψης. Εύκολη εγκατάσταση, plug n' play στα windows που βρίσκουν αυτόματα drivers, διπλό κανάλι για 2,4 και 5GHz, καμία αποσύνδεση και ταχύτητες στα όρια του τέλειου... ΑΝ δεν έχεις εμπόδια ή είσαι σχετικά κοντά στην πηγή του Wi-Fi. Αν απέχεις αρκετά μέτρα και υπάρχουν τοίχοι ανάμεσα στο ρούτερ και στον υπολογιστή τότε αρχίζει να ζορίζεται και να σου κόβει ταχύτητες. Το έχω σε desktop με απόσταση 8 μέτρων από το ρούτερ με ένα μονό τοίχο (με πόρτα) ανάμεσα και μου ρίχνει τις ταχύτητες τουλάχιστον στο 1/3. Το αστείο είναι πως έχει τόσο ασθενές σήμα που αν καθήσει ένας άνθρωπος μπροστά από τον πύργο (το σώμα κόβει κάπως το σήμα) ή στρέψω ελαφρώς τον πύργο προς άλλη κατεύθυνση τότε οι ταχύτητες πέφτουν σε απελπιστικά επίπεδα. Και δεν είναι θέμα ρούτερ. Δοκίμασα στο ίδιο setup δύο διαφορετικές USB Wi-Fi κεραίες (μια tp-link και μια d-link) και δούλεψαν και οι δύο με σχεδόν τέλειο σήμα και ταχύτητες. Κατα τ' άλλα ακόμα και με χαμηλές ταχύτητες έχω να πω πως δεν αποσυνδέθηκε ποτέ. Οπότε αν και γενικά δεν θα την πρότεινα αν ο υπολογιστής είναι δίπλα στο ρούτερ δεν θα έχετε πρόβλημα. Από την άλλη, αν ο υπολογιστής σας είναι δίπλα στο ρούτερ δεν κουμπώνεται ένα καλώδιο ethernet να είστε καλυμμένοι...
