The DNAlogy Patrotis Kit DNA test is intended for private paternity testing to determine whether a man is a child's biological father. Samples are collected using sterile swabs from the inside of the cheek and sent to the laboratory for analysis.

Before collecting samples, avoid eating, drinking, and smoking for at least 30 minutes. Collect two separate samples from each person and leave them to dry for at least 3 hours at room temperature in a protected environment, away from sources of contamination.
