Whatever Gobblet you pick up.. you will find Gobblet! The goal in Gobblet is to place four of your pieces in a row, horizontally, vertically, or diagonally. You start the game with the pieces placed outside the board. In each round, you have the option to either play a piece from the 12 pieces you have outside the board, or make a move from the pieces already in the game. The bigger piece covers the smaller one! If you choose a piece that is outside the board, you cannot cover your opponent's piece unless it is in a row where your opponent has three pieces of the same color. Your memory is tested as you try to remember which color covers one of your bigger pieces before you move it. Once a player has four pieces of the same color in a row, they win - except in one case: If you lift one of your pieces and underneath appears an opponent's piece that creates the winning combination (four in a row), you do not lose immediately; you cannot return the piece to its original position, but if you can, you have the option to place it on top of one of your opponent's three other pieces in that row and the game continues!
