    I opened it and tried to connect it to the Display Port of my laptop. On the first attempt, without applying much pressure, the plastic around the adapter broke and now the plug is a bit loose. I connected it gently and it works fine. It transfers audio normally (which was a concern for me), but I'm afraid it might break if I accidentally apply too much pressure.

    So, just be careful and handle it gently, future buyers :)
