Description

Description

When the Earth was still new, the very difficult, the impossible tasks were done by heroes. And first among them was Hercules, who, after the gold of the North, the West, and the East, went to bring the gold of the Underworld! The treasure of the immortal Pluto himself, guarded by the terrible and fearsome three-headed dog, Cerberus. The Mythological Tales series attempts a new "reading" of ancient Greek myths. They are not old, oft-repeated stories of forgotten gods, but exciting action tales through which all the timeless human adventures, fears, and joys that have marked and still mark the human soul unfold.

Many people think that heroes are fearless. That they don't know what fear is. That when others tremble, sweat coldly, and their stomachs tighten... heroes don't understand anything. They rush in, fight, win, without their ears sweating. End of story. That's not true! No matter what many believe, the truth is different: heroes are afraid! In fact, real heroes are afraid a lot and all the time! But they fight, and they conquer their fear. And Hercules, who is the hero of heroes, knew very well what fear is. Since he was a baby in his cradle, he learned to face it and to defeat it. But in this final feat, he faced the fear of fears. And he fought it. And he also defeated it. Without even using his weapons!
