The functionality is excellent but its drivers are problematic. For a while, I was getting a blue screen with a reference to 'athurx.sys' every time I plugged and unplugged the adapter from the USB port of my PC, until I decided to replace it.
Λειτουργικα ειναι εξαιρετικο αλλα τα driver του ειναι προβληματικα. Για ενα διαστημα μου εκανε μπλε οθονη με αναφορα 'athurx.sys' καθε φορα που εβγαζα και ξαναεβαζα τον ανταπτορα απο την υποδοχη usb του pc μεχρι που αποφασισα να το αντικαταστησω.
Initially, I bought it with fear and as a "necessary evil", because I only had a proper connection with a cable and I had suffered a lot from Powerlines (a lot of money for nothing!). You see, there is a great distance between the PC and the router and it is not easy to drill walls to pass Ethernet wiring.
The stick was installed seamlessly in a Windows 10 environment and since then it has been connected to the base on the desk and to one of the direct USB ports on the motherboard. And this is because I noticed that I had losses when connected to non-direct USB ports (tower, monitor, even with the USB extension cable that comes in the package). The cable of the base is not very long. It barely reaches from the tower to the surface of the desk. The green blinking light indicating data activity is not bothersome at all. It performs excellently in terms of range and speed: in download, it reaches a maximum of 3.3 Mbps on a 30 Mbps OTE VDSL line, and this is 10m away from the router with the interference of 3 walls and 2 doors.
However, the main flaw is that 7 out of 10 times when the PC boots up - and certainly after every Windows update - the stick and the connection are dead. The reset is simple and quick: remove the stick from the base and reinsert it after a few seconds. The light immediately starts blinking. However, if it is working during PC startup, it never disconnects.
For the above flaw, I wanted to give it a 3/5 rating, but here's the thing, it has such a low price and is influenced by the value for money factor! So give it a try. After all, it costs so little...

Το stick εγκαταστάθηκε απροβλημάτιστα σε περιβάλλον Windows 10 κι έκτοτε είναι συνδεδεμένο με τη βάση πάνω στο γραφείο και σε μία από τις direct USB της μητρικής. Κι αυτό γιατί παρατήρησα ότι είχα απώλειες όταν συνδεόταν σε non-direct USB θύρες (tower, monitor, ακόμα με το καλώδιο-προέκταση USB που υπάρχει στη συσκευασία). Το καλώδιο της βάσης δεν έχει μεγάλο μήκος. Ίσα που φτάνει απ’ το tower στην επιφάνεια του γραφείου. Το πράσινο φωτάκι που αναβοσβήνει δείχνοντας την δραστηριότητα δεδομένων δεν ενοχλεί καθόλου. Από εμβέλεια και ταχύτητα τα πάει περίφημα: σε download πιάνει max. 3,3 Mbps σε 30άρα γραμμή OTE VDSL κι αυτό 10m απ’ το router και την παρεμβολή 3 τοίχων και 2 πορτών.

Easy installation, within 3 minutes with the disk. The tower is in the next room and the signal is full. The speed gives me the impression that it is wired. And on the upper floor where I tested it, 4 bars of signal with the same response on the internet. At first, when I opened it, its size made me doubt its capabilities, but in the end, I was wrong. It is worth every penny and more!
Ευκολη εγκατασταση, εντος 3' με το δισκακι. Ο πυργος ειναι σε διπλανο δωματιο και σημα φουλ. Ταχυτητα μου δινει την εντυπωση οτι ειναι με καλωδιο. Και στον πανω οροφο που το δοκιμασα 4 γραμμες στο σημα με την ιδια αποκριση στο ιντερνετ. Στην αρχη οταν το ανοιξα το μεγεθος του με εκανε να αμφιβαλλω για τις δυνατοτητες του, αλλα τελικα εκανα λαθος. Αξιζει τα χρηματα του με το παραπανω!!!
So, I bought this product to connect wirelessly to my home network (I didn't have the option to use a cable) and after reading many reviews, I ended up choosing this one. I have no complaints about the speed/range/disconnections, but I have to say the following:
The driver installation gave me quite a hard time! Yes, there is a website from the company that can guide you (with videos), but I encountered many problems during the installation (the videos showed how to solve each problem, but I didn't have that much patience). Luckily, I have a laptop and I transferred the CD there (who uses Optical drivers on PCs these days?) and copied the Autorun.exe file to a USB. After that, things were very easy!
Overall, I recommend this product, but if you don't have an optical driver, you might struggle with the driver installation.
Edit: After some time, it started acting strange! When I turn on my computer, it doesn't always detect the device (not very often, but it's very annoying). The problem is solved with a restart. My motherboard is MSI x370 pro Carbon, so it can't be the culprit (I've tried all the ports).
Λοιπόν, αγοράστηκε για να συνδέομαι ασύρματα στο δίκτυο του σπιτιού μου (δεν είχα δυνατότητα με καλώδιο) και αφού είδα πολλές κρητικές κατέληξα σε αυτό. Δεν έχω κανένα παράπονο από ταχύτητα/εμβέλεια/αποσυνδέσεις αλλά έχω να πω το εξής:
Η εγκατάσταση του driver με δυσκόλεψε αρκετά! Ναι, υπάρχει σαιτ της εταιρίας που μπορεί να σε κατατοπίσει (και με βιντεακια) αλλά εγώ συνάντησα πολλά προβλήματα κατά την εγκατάστασή του (στα βίντεο έδειχνε πως να αντιμετωπίσεις το κάθε πρόβλημα αλλά δεν είχα τόση υπομονή). Ευτυχώς που έχω και λαπτοπ και πέρασα το CD εκεί (ποιος χρησιμοποιεί στις μέρες μας Optical driver στο PC;) και έκανα αντιγραφή του αρχείου Autorun.exe σε ένα USB. Μετα τα πράγματα ήταν πολύ εύκολα!!!
Γενικά το συστήνω σαν προϊόν αλλά να δεν έχεις optical Driver ενδεχομένως να ζοριστείς στην εγκατάσταση του driver.
Edit: Μετά από λίγο καιρό άρχισε να μου κάνει περίεργα! Οταν ανοίγω τον υπολογιστή δεν εντοπίζει πάντα τη συσκευή (οχι τόσο συχνά αλλα ειναι πολύ ενοχλητικό). Το πρόβλημα λύνεται με μια επανεκκίνηση. Η μητρική μου ειναι MSI x370 pro Carbon οπότε δεν μπορεί να φταίει αυτή (έχω δοκιμάσει όλες τις θύρες).
That I bought it and installed it. Extremely simple. It seems to work just fine. I haven't tested it or it hasn't been long enough to see any other issues, but as an initial impression, it is very satisfactory.
I will come back after extensive use. Without having tested it, but for simple use, it does its job just fine. It doesn't disconnect and there are no other problems. I use it on 2 different desktops and there is no problem at all.

Ναι, υπάρχει σαιτ της εταιρίας που μπορεί να σε κατατοπίσει (και με βιντεακια) αλλά εγώ συνάντησα πολλά προβλήματα κατά την εγκατάστασή του (στα βίντεο έδειχνε πως να αντιμετωπίσεις το κάθε πρόβλημα αλλά δεν είχα τόση υπομονή). Ευτυχώς που έχω και λαπτοπ και πέρασα το CD εκεί (ποιος χρησιμοποιεί στις μέρες μας Optical driver στο PC;) και έκανα αντιγραφή του αρχείου Autorun.exe σε ένα USB. Μετα τα πράγματα ήταν πολύ εύκολα!!!
Γενικά το συστήνω σαν προϊόν αλλά να δεν έχεις optical Driver ενδεχομένως να ζοριστείς στην εγκατάσταση του driver.
Edit: Μετά από λίγο καιρό άρχισε να μου κάνει περίεργα! Οταν ανοίγω τον υπολογιστή δεν εντοπίζει πάντα τη συσκευή (οχι τόσο συχνά αλλα ειναι πολύ ενοχλητικό). Το πρόβλημα λύνεται με μια επανεκκίνηση. Η μητρική μου ειναι MSI x370 pro Carbon οπότε δεν μπορεί να φταίει αυτή (έχω δοκιμάσει όλες τις θύρες).
That I bought it and installed it. Extremely simple. It seems to work just fine. I haven't tested it or it hasn't been long enough to see any other issues, but as an initial impression, it is very satisfactory.
I will come back after extensive use. Without having tested it, but for simple use, it does its job just fine. It doesn't disconnect and there are no other problems. I use it on 2 different desktops and there is no problem at all.
Ότι το αγόρασα και το εγκατέστησα. Υπερβολικά απλό. Δείχνει να δουλεύει μία χαρά. Δεν έχω κάνει τεστ ή δεν έχει περάσει καιρός για να δω κάποια άλλα πράγματα, αλλά σαν αρχική εικόνα είναι πολύ ικανοποιητική.
Επανέρχομαι μετά από εκτεταμένη χρήση. Χωρίς να του έχω κάνει τεστ, αλλά για μία απλή χρήση, κάνει μία χαρά τη δουλειά του. Ούτε αποσυνδέεται ούτε υπάρχουν άλλα προβλήματα. Το χρησιμοποιώ σε 2 διαφορετικά desktop και δεν υπάρχει κανένα πρόβλημα.

The functionality is excellent but its drivers are problematic. For a while, I was getting a blue screen with a reference to 'athurx.sys' every time I plugged and unplugged the adapter from the USB port of my PC, until I decided to replace it.
Λειτουργικα ειναι εξαιρετικο αλλα τα driver του ειναι προβληματικα. Για ενα διαστημα μου εκανε μπλε οθονη με αναφορα 'athurx.sys' καθε φορα που εβγαζα και ξαναεβαζα τον ανταπτορα απο την υποδοχη usb του pc μεχρι που αποφασισα να το αντικαταστησω.
Initially, I bought it with fear and as a "necessary evil", because I only had a proper connection with a cable and I had suffered a lot from Powerlines (a lot of money for nothing!). You see, there is a great distance between the PC and the router and it is not easy to drill walls to pass Ethernet wiring.
The stick was installed seamlessly in a Windows 10 environment and since then it has been connected to the base on the desk and to one of the direct USB ports on the motherboard. And this is because I noticed that I had losses when connected to non-direct USB ports (tower, monitor, even with the USB extension cable that comes in the package). The cable of the base is not very long. It barely reaches from the tower to the surface of the desk. The green blinking light indicating data activity is not bothersome at all. It performs excellently in terms of range and speed: in download, it reaches a maximum of 3.3 Mbps on a 30 Mbps OTE VDSL line, and this is 10m away from the router with the interference of 3 walls and 2 doors.
However, the main flaw is that 7 out of 10 times when the PC boots up - and certainly after every Windows update - the stick and the connection are dead. The reset is simple and quick: remove the stick from the base and reinsert it after a few seconds. The light immediately starts blinking. However, if it is working during PC startup, it never disconnects.
For the above flaw, I wanted to give it a 3/5 rating, but here's the thing, it has such a low price and is influenced by the value for money factor! So give it a try. After all, it costs so little...
Αρχικά το πήρα με φόβο και σαν «αναγκαίο κακό», επειδή μόνο με καλώδιο είχα σωστή σύνδεση κι είχα ταλαιπωρηθεί πολύ απ’ τα Powelines (πολλά λεφτά για το τίποτα!). Βλέπετε υπάρχει μεγάλη απόσταση μεταξύ PC - router και δεν είναι εύκολο να τρυπάς τοίχους για να περάσεις καλωδίωση Ethernet.
Το stick εγκαταστάθηκε απροβλημάτιστα σε περιβάλλον Windows 10 κι έκτοτε είναι συνδεδεμένο με τη βάση πάνω στο γραφείο και σε μία από τις direct USB της μητρικής. Κι αυτό γιατί παρατήρησα ότι είχα απώλειες όταν συνδεόταν σε non-direct USB θύρες (tower, monitor, ακόμα με το καλώδιο-προέκταση USB που υπάρχει στη συσκευασία). Το καλώδιο της βάσης δεν έχει μεγάλο μήκος. Ίσα που φτάνει απ’ το tower στην επιφάνεια του γραφείου. Το πράσινο φωτάκι που αναβοσβήνει δείχνοντας την δραστηριότητα δεδομένων δεν ενοχλεί καθόλου. Από εμβέλεια και ταχύτητα τα πάει περίφημα: σε download πιάνει max. 3,3 Mbps σε 30άρα γραμμή OTE VDSL κι αυτό 10m απ’ το router και την παρεμβολή 3 τοίχων και 2 πορτών.
Βασικό ελάττωμα πάντως είναι ότι 7 στις 10 φορές που bootάρει το PC –και σίγουρα μετά από κάθε Windows update- στικάκι και σύνδεση είναι νεκρά. Το reset είναι απλό και γρήγορο: τραβήξτε το στικάκι απ’ τη βάση κι επανατοποθετήστε το μετά λίγα δευτερόλεπτα. Άμεσα το λαμπάκι αναβοσβήνει. Πάντως αν δουλεύει κατά την εκκίνηση του PC, αποσυνδέσεις δεν κάνει ποτέ.
Για το παραπάνω ελάττωμα ήθελα να του βάλω 3/5 αλλά έλα που έχει τόσο χαμηλή τιμή κι επηρεάζεται ο παράγων value for money! Άρα δοκιμάστε το. Εξάλλου κοστίζει τόσο λίγο...
