    I bought it for the HP Compaq 6510b laptop about two years ago. It fits the port perfectly, it is very convenient that the port that connects to the laptop has a shape like a "C" and is not straight. Under heavy usage (multitasking, games, VMs) it gets quite warm - especially in the summer - but not excessively so. The only thing it was missing was the cable from the socket to the power supply, which I took from an old laptop charger and it fit perfectly.
