Indeed, the water does accumulate, which I absorb a little with a wettex, but you can easily remove it with a little vinegar and soap, it cleans very well! I have been using it for 1.5 years and yes, if you overload it on one side, it may tip over, but that can be fixed on the spot. The bottles don't touch anywhere and dry better, just like the nipples. I believe its practicality lies in how well it folds, ease of cleaning, and it doesn't dissolve or break easily over time like other similar products.
