The Fujitsu fi-7240 scanner combines an automatic document feeder with a flatbed scanning surface, allowing it to handle bound, stapled, or delicate documents. It scans single-sided pages at 40 pages per minute and double-sided pages at 80 images per minute, while the automatic document feeder holds up to 80 sheets. The paper protection function automatically stops feeding if it detects irregularities in document movement.
