The book addresses two different yet related issues. The first of these is the composition and actions of the three Greek occupation governments. The second relates to the trials that took place against the members of these occupation governments as collaborators and against war criminals, with severe charges, including high treason.

It is a political analysis of a critical period in modern Greek history, which has left deep and lasting traces up to the current political reality.
