Microsoft practically abandons keyboards. So, the forced choice is the 850 set. Sets 900, 1000, etc. have disappeared. As a forced choice, it is good. It has some quality in construction and use, while the mouse is of regular size, user-friendly, and relatively sturdy. I was looking for something bigger and of higher quality, like the 3050 (which was also discontinued!!!), but I bought it and gave it away since the new mice do NOT work correctly with the scroll wheel in the AutoCad design program!!!!! The situation is the same with Logitech. There is no keyboard (Greek), above the usual size and quality, for someone to choose.

Honest as mentioned by other users. I don't like its keys, they remind me of an older keyboard and I find it quite noisy. Definitely its price and the fact that the batteries last a long time make it a cheap solution, but I wouldn't recommend it for professional use

Definitely a VfM wireless keyboard-mouse set. Of course, there is a lot of subjectivity in these devices based on what suits each person.

  • Bought in 2012, very good value for money. After 10 years, it still works and most importantly, the letters on the keys have not faded. The mouse, as expected, is terrible, so if you need a new one, it won't be suitable for 2022. On the positive side, it has wireless encryption technology and a long battery life. The buttons are a bit narrow, but they don't bother me. The only negative is that it doesn't have a caps lock indicator light. However, it is not completely silent as some others claim, but it is not excessively noisy either.

The keyboard is very comfortable and relatively quiet, it really makes you feel like writing with it. BUT, today after just 1 year and 3 days, without any wear and tear and with relatively little use, it started acting up. It types the letter c on its own infinite times and only stops if you press another key. Besides being annoying, because it presses the c key, the computer turns on by itself at night as it realizes someone is pressing buttons if it's on standby. Obviously, I'm going for a replacement, but I will never buy Microsoft peripherals again. Unfortunately, when it hung up on me, I was on a call with a big company and it was pressing buttons and shortcuts on its own, making me look like a fool! Unfortunately, it turned out to be Chinese (which it is) and moreover unreliable. Luckily, I have a 5 euro keyboard here for 15 years and I will keep using it until I get something reliable. That's all for your information.

After 6 months of use, I have to note the following:
    1. The keyboard is average, some buttons are too close together, resulting in frequent mistakes.
    2. The keyboard does not sit well on the surface, causing it to move when typing.
    3. The mouse is convenient, but the scroll wheel gave up after 6 months.

Overall, it is a mediocre set that did not last even 6 months with careful use

Very good guys, there is no reason to worry about it for 1.5 years without any problem. The batteries are not an issue, I already changed them about 3 months ago with daily use. Obviously, it's not for gaming, it's not designed for that anyway, but otherwise it works perfectly!

Keyboard complete. Mouse pad, I don't know if this specific one is defective but the mouse keeps lagging to a degree that you can't do your work properly, I will probably return it with a warranty and see.

Update: I searched on the internet and somewhere I read that it interferes when you have the receiver next to the laptop. I added an extension cable and now I don't have any issues. Still a significant problem, I don't know if everything is like this or just what I have.

For its price, I can say it is one of the best sets you can buy.

I have had it for 4-5 years and it still works very well. The mouse occasionally scrolls up or down on its own, but it's not a big problem.

The only negative thing is its connection, which gets tangled with the wireless network (probably) and doesn't work well if I don't have the receiver close (20cm).

I bought it today after using the 900 model (which is more expensive and has very good reviews).
Honestly, I regret not buying it earlier. The keyboard is very nice, finally the typing feels familiar and not like the 900 where it felt like I was writing on wood.
The mouse is great, I was expecting it to be much worse based on what I read. I recommend it

Do not expect anything supernatural. It does the job it needs to do for the money it costs.
Three stars because the keyboard is good but the mouse is terrible.

The mouse, although it has a good size for people with large hands, is UNACCEPTABLE. It is the worst I have ever used. The scroll wheel broke after the first semester. It is not accurate at all, so if you want it for gaming or work that requires precision, forget it. After four years, the left click broke, but it was used daily for many hours, so it probably lasted long enough.

The keyboard, apart from the fact that the WASD, left shift, and alt keys have faded, did not have any problems. The keys move a little, but they did not come off or cause any problems.

Very good and convenient keyboard for long hours of use - personally - I have not encountered any problems with my wrists as mentioned by other users. Its positives include the encryption of wireless technology, the single transmitter for 2 devices, and its range. Its negatives include the noise of the keys when typing quickly and the fading of some characters after just 1 year...

In time, the mouse stopped clicking accurately, now it requires more force to ensure the clicks, otherwise it misses some. Disappointing durability of the mouse, the keyboard still holds up well. Quite noisy set.

Good as a keyboard, with a mediocre mouse though. The scroll wheel is not good.
It also frequently displays synchronization issues after the first semester.
    I would not recommend it.

  • Microsoft practically abandons keyboards.

  • Honest as mentioned by other users. I don't like its keys, they remind me of an older keyboard and I find it quite noisy. Definitely its price and the fact that the batteries last a long time make it a cheap solution, but I wouldn't recommend it for professional use

  • Definitely a VfM wireless keyboard-mouse set.

  • The keyboard is very comfortable and relatively quiet, it really makes you feel like writing with it.
