Citizenship, as the bond of a person with a State and as their integration into the people of that State, constitutes a fundamental condition of the person and their personality.
From this nature and the functional mission of citizenship, the interest of every citizen to have basic information about issues particularly related to the acquisition and loss of citizenship is justified.
This interest of the citizen is aimed to be satisfied by the present systematic and article-by-article interpretation of the Greek Citizenship Code, as it is currently in force.
