The main body of Nitsa Lule's book is the correspondence of her parents, Kostas Lule and Maria Lule, of the Bartziota family, from prison, exile, and illegality, and bears the stigma of post-civil war Greece.
The Lule correspondence begins from the mountains and the Civil War in 1949 and ends in May 1974, shortly before the fall of the junta of the colonels. Averof Prison, Aegina, Leros, Oropos, Yura, Alikarnassos, Etsedin, Agios Pavlos Hospital for Prisoners... The entire period of the stone years passes through these letters, both those exchanged by the couple and those written by their children, Nitsa and Dimitris, or addressed to them.
These are letters soaked with steel faith in struggles and visions for a better tomorrow, but also soaked with pain, as they are written far from the most beloved people to whom they are addressed.
