The electronic cash register has received the 'Spiel Gut' award from the working group for toys and babies. It includes everything children need to create play scenarios that simulate real-life cash register situations: a scale with a screen, light, sound, and a flat weighing surface, a plastic keyboard with calculation function that produces sounds when you type an amount, and a scanner that lights up and emits sound when a button is pressed. Customers can pay either with cash or with a credit card. Several coins are included as well as appropriate sound when customers pay with a card. To complete the pretend play, the cash register can be turned on and off with a key, and it produces an exceptionally authentic sound when the drawer opens.
