The Korg Monotron Duo analog synthesizer combines two independent analog VCOs with individual pitch controls and an X-MOD circuit for modulation between the two oscillators. Its analog VCF is based on the Korg MS-10 and MS-20, while the VCF Cutoff and VCF Peak controls adjust its operation.

The ribbon keyboard offers a choice of four scales: Chromatic, Major, Minor, or Off. The built-in speaker, aux input for connecting an external source, and headphone jack allow you to use it without additional equipment. It runs on two AAA batteries.
