The optical system consists of 9 elements in 7 groups, including 2 aspherical glass elements, and features Ultra Multi Coating (UMC) to optimize light transmission and reduce internal reflections, flare, and ghosting. Its barrel is made of high-strength aluminum alloy, while the distance scales and T-stop values are marked on both sides of the lens.
