This review is about a variation of the product

I thought it would come to me in a makeshift cardboard (bulk). To my pleasant surprise, it arrived in a retail box. It didn't say anything in the product title about a boxed version, but if you look at the store listings under the same product code, you'll see that many mention it is retail.
Why do I mention this as important? Because it included the Cyberlink Media Suite 15! It's older, but it includes PowerDVD, PowerDirector, and many other fully functional programs. I've bought 5-6 BD-ROM/RW in the past 10+ years and either they didn't come with any software or with programs that fell short of expectations like TotalMediaPlayer.
I burned a few discs of every type (BD-25, DVD9, CD-RW). The device works as it should + the unexpected Cyberlink suite.
    Shouldn't I be satisfied?

The discs I have written are only Juden, JVC, and Verbatim. I have abandoned other brands for years because in terms of quality for backup, the differences were day and night and it is not worth the cost to risk again.

    So far satisfied.

The reading head broke after just 10 uses (recordings) of a Blu-ray disc. There is no support (nor warranty) available for this specific model from LG's representative in Greece.

Quite good. It could be 10-20 euros cheaper.
