These are the first writings in the form of correspondence by the then young (1984) psychiatrist-psychotherapist Jorge Bucay, written for a patient and close friend of his, Claudia, the alter ego of his young daughter. The texts of the letters began to circulate and be avidly read by his patients who discovered his early explorations around love, the beauty of life, self-awareness, and the mysteries of human psychology.
