Optical Features

The 21mm T1.5 ED AS UMC CS lens is a lens with a wide T1.5 aperture. You can control the lens precisely when shooting in various exposure environments, including relatively dark situations.

The lens features 8 elements in 7 groups, which include one extra-low dispersion (ED) lens and 3 glass aspherical lenses (ASP) that offer high resolution throughout the image. Samyang's Ultra Multi Coating (UMC) is used to optimize light penetration and minimize flare and ghosting. With such an optical construction, it has a 0.28m minimum focal length.

There are 9 aperture blades designed to create a full circle when closed, producing a clean and beautiful starburst effect.
