A spin-off title of the well-known Final Fantasy series which does not reach the level of the mainline titles of the series. It is lighter as a game, with a unique yet pleasant art style. It has plenty of content and will definitely keep you entertained for many hours. It can become repetitive but that is understandable in this type of game. Overall, though, it is a nice and more casual FF game and may appeal more to younger audiences compared to older gamers.

World of Final Fantasy. A turn-based JRPG game that is literally a nostalgia trip to the previous games of the famous series. The player controls two siblings, Lann and Reynn, who have amnesia and are transported to the world of Grymoire, searching for answers and, of course, their memories.

In terms of story, the game follows the typical classic Japanese RPG formula of "defeat the main villain to save the world," so it doesn't stand out in this aspect. The dialogues are just okay, although the character of Lann will definitely annoy some players as he behaves immaturely most of the time. There are no complaints about the other characters.

The presence of various characters (as well as some areas) from older Final Fantasy games, such as FF5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, and 13, is enjoyable and helps the two siblings in their journey, but they don't get enough time to shine.

In terms of sound, the game does very well, as the music blends well with the game and there are also some tracks from previous games (as mentioned before, nostalgia), some of which the player can change from the menu (such as battle music).

In terms of graphics, the design (especially the character models) is reminiscent of Kingdom Hearts, and the monster models have detail. Overall, the visual presentation fits well with the rest of the game, so it will leave players satisfied in this aspect.

In the battle system, the game is turn-based (unlike the latest FF15). The player controls the two siblings as well as the various monsters they collect, called mirages, which stack on top of each other. A large monster (L for large) is always placed at the bottom, a medium-sized monster (M for medium) in the middle, and a smaller one (S for small) on top. One thing that might tire some players is the constant need to manage the talent tree of the monsters every time they level up (as there are many with their own evolutions), as well as the battle system that lacks depth after a certain point (although some may appreciate its simplicity and comprehensibility). It's worth noting that the game features various summons from previous Final Fantasy games, as well as giant Mirage monsters (XL) towards the end.

The game is linear (there is no exploration on the map) from the world to the dungeons it has, but this is not necessarily a bad thing, at least in this specific title. The game's duration is around 30-35 hours, and to complete all the trophies/achievements, it takes around 60 hours.

For fans of old turn-based JRPGs like Final Fantasy (and even for others), the game as a whole (with its negatives, of course) is a good purchase for PS4 owners at around 30-35 euros, and it is recommended if someone doesn't have high expectations from it.

World of Final Fantasy incorporates several characters from the series' games, the graphics resemble Kingdom Hearts in how the entire environment is structured, the battle system is quite easy to learn and you can change its mode to auto or turn-based, waiting for each action to be executed. It has a lot of humor throughout the story, especially if you are a fan of the series because with each old character that appears, memories will come to you. You fight by collecting mirages-monsters, which you collect somewhat like Pokémon. Then you raise them with their abilities and if you want, you can transform them after a certain point. You can also make many combinations depending on what you want. It will occupy you for several hours, especially if you are a fan of doing many extra things, and I believe you will have a lot of fun. The rating may be a bit subjective, but it has enough elements - and many are at a cute level - that will make you hooked until you see them all.
