I think that what it immediately does is relieve tired eyes. Swelling, discomfort in the area due to fatigue, etc. It has a very intense cool sensation at first which gradually fades away. Imagine a product with mint. When I first applied it, I was a little scared because it's one of those products that confuse you if they freeze or burn you! In the end, it worked great and it is very decent for the reason I bought it. It turned out to be very gentle on the eye area, which personally I have very sensitive eyes and I was skeptical. It contains micro-particles which are not visible at all when you apply it, but probably contribute to making the area visually fresher. Overall, I have only good things to say and this particular company rarely disappoints me.
