I have oily roots and dry ends, this shampoo is one of the few that did not clean my roots. I had to use 5 handfuls of it, while normally I use 2 or at most 3, and this is because it didn't lather well and I'm not referring to the lack of foam, I mean that I felt oiliness on my fingers as I rubbed my roots even on the 5th handful. When I dried my hair, it was patchy and flat at the roots, I had intense itching and when I scratched, I had dandruff from the buildup on my nails. You can strongly feel the mint "burning" sensation when you have it on your head (which personally I like), it smells strongly of tea tree (which personally I don't like) to the point that my eyes were tearing up and slightly stinging. I do not recommend it, especially for very dry hair.
