The sink from Fortinox is made of stainless steel. It is resistant to rust and heat, while also having high resistance to strong acids such as nitric acid, alkaline solutions, and solutions of organic and inorganic salts. It also prevents the implantation and survival of bacteria.

It is easy to clean, requires minimal maintenance, and does not deteriorate over time. Aesthetically, its neutral color makes it suitable for any kitchen without negatively affecting the decor.

The installation is inset, meaning it is recessed into the countertop and its rim protrudes. It is the easiest and most common installation method for kitchen sinks. Essentially, the weight of the sink is supported by the countertop itself, with some support points underneath for stabilization. Sealing is achieved with insulating material, such as silicone, placed around the perimeter of the hole, under the rim.

A major practical disadvantage of inset sinks is the rim, which makes cleaning difficult and prevents water that falls onto the countertop from being wiped directly into the basin.
