It is not a bad product, as it is small, compact, and I have been using it for two years with the XPS 9365 without any problems that I have seen other users have.

However, it has some issues: only 1080p resolution, a borderline VGA port (I have a problem with a specific extension cable, although in general it is fine), an excessively short cable (it needed another 7-8cm) as it forces a specific arrangement and fills the desk with cables, and finally, it does not pass through the USB-C port.

Average rating because it provides analysis up to 1080p on the HDMI output, and it seems to consume all the bandwidth because the Ethernet loses the signal momentarily when it is strained. Connected to a Dell laptop with Thunderbolt 3 output, not just a regular type C.

Just don't buy it. It has the well-known problem that when you connect it to a monitor, everything freezes. (OS ubuntu 16.04)

The device is quite high-quality, with a particularly small volume, simple and practical design. The only negative comment concerns the case when it is connected to any port (especially HDMI and RJ-45 (LAN)) with a hard (not particularly flexible) cable. The inflexibility of the connected cable does not allow the device to stand stable and aligned with the (flat) connecting cable in the laptop's type-C port. Of course, the flat foldable cable of the device is quite flexible and does not transfer any force to the laptop's port.

The product was purchased from a well-known electronics store and had a two-year warranty from the customer's location. The adapter broke before it even reached a year of use. It should be noted that I use it for work (connecting to a projector and USB). When I called the store, they told me to bring it there, where they confirmed that it was not working and referred me back to Dell, as stated on the receipt. Dell, in turn, requires a whole process to send someone to inspect it. I explained to them that it is a tool for everyday work and that I intended to bring it myself to resolve the issue quickly, but they had no flexibility in their system. In conclusion, it is a particularly expensive adapter that I bought for its reliability, but it broke in less than half the time the warranty provided, and the customer service at home is an Odyssey.

Very good I would say but the only downside it has is that its maximum resolution is 2048x1152, meaning if you have a monitor higher than 1080p it is a deal breaker

For MacBook Pro 2017, it does its job very well. Very lightweight and reliable. The cable is a bit short.

After some moderate use (1 year of use), the soft connector that ends in the type-c plug simply detached and lost contact internally in the adapter circuit. Therefore, it became useless after 1 year of use... Stay away!
