    It connected and was recognized by the motherboard directly and without any problems. It has been working perfectly for 1.5 months now, with an 8GB of the same speed from another manufacturer that my laptop had, giving it a significant boost in performance. (Sufficient programs open simultaneously, combined with multiple internet browser tabs). Overall, I would say it's a fair purchase for the money they ask. Minus 1 star due to the limited (2 years) and not lifetime warranty that some other manufacturers provide.
