Tested on an old klr 250 which has very worn camshafts and generally the engine is slightly rough. Compared to other oils here, the engine started burning oil quickly and I had to refill very soon after the first change. In terms of sound behavior, I did not notice the engine sweetening particularly, in terms of clutch/gearbox behavior the operation is smooth.

I am not the best example, but for the price and the name I expected something better. I had a better performance with valvoline synpower, where I did not burn so much oil

    I put it on a v strom 650
and it's the worst crap I've put on.
First of all, the gears shift hard
and secondly, it raises the engine temperature.
I've done almost 3,000 and now I'm going for an oil change because it keeps getting worse

I tried it on my vf125 (10-40) and I have to say that when it's cold, the engine noise is a bit louder and the gears are a bit harder to shift. However, once it warms up, it's fine. Then I tried Castrol Power 1 15-50 and it has better performance, the engine runs smoother and the gears shift better when it's cold. It might be great for other bikes, but for mine, I don't think it worked well

After years of using Shell advance ultra on my Crypton X, I decided to switch to this specific oil. After two weeks of use, I notice the following:

    Positive:
    - Significant difference in gear shifting. Smooth and quiet.
    - Slight difference in engine noise. Lower and sweeter sound.
    - Packaging with a long spout that facilitates use.

    Negative:
    - The oil takes too long to warm up during startup, even now (late March) when it's not very cold. It requires a considerable warm-up time to prevent the bike from "complaining". With Shell, this time was much shorter.
    - Quite expensive at 14 euros per liter.

I think it's suitable for summer. However, for cold weather, it's not good, I would say.

z750 gen2. New clutch discs and new springs and oil change with them.... the change was made in December so since then until now the bike works in cold weather. When the bike is cold, in the morning for example, every time I release the clutch to start moving from a standstill, the clutch scratches (catches and releases, so to speak, and scratches)... the first 2 or maybe 3 good accelerations with 1st gear, the clutch has a slight and distinct slipping. After that, it improves especially when the bike warms up well.... I suspect that this oil is causing the symptoms given that I have changed the clutch. It's like creating some film on the discs that slip until it wears off from slipping. I hope it doesn't damage my new discs.

Excellent oil, I have been using it for a very long time on my KTM Duke 125/200 with 10w50 and on my Vstrom 650 with 10w40. The price is a bit high and compared to Valvoline SynPower 10w40/10w50, I didn't see any significant difference.

The oil simply rocks on a scooter. The gears don't slip. It doesn't skid. It doesn't struggle when the motorcycle is cold. It's fuel-efficient. It covers over 1800 km with daily gas kicks. For me, perhaps the top oil for motorcycles and cars.

In the Honda innova i, where initially I used the 5100, I thought that the gearbox needed a change the way it was behaving, especially after the first 1000 kilometers, I thought it would stay in my hand. With the 7100, its function and the feeling and sound of the gearbox changed completely. I later tried amsoil, but it didn't have the same effect as the 7100. The 5100 had an oil consumption of about 70ml per 1000 kilometers, while the 7100 has half of that (70ml per 2000 kilometers). After 2500 kilometers and 9-10 months, it needs to be changed, and this is evident from how the gearbox becomes smoother with the new oil.

Top oil! I changed it on my Varadero 1000 mk3 at 10,000 km (I used to change the others at 7,500 km) and the oil was in excellent condition, it would definitely last another 5,000 km! Also, the first gear stopped making noise (those who have a Varadero will understand) and overall, when it was very cold outside, around 1-2 degrees Celsius, the bike was completely silent when in first gear! The oil is excellent!

It is a good oil but expensive for me. I don't need 100% synthetic oil for my scooter. It's better to use Castrol Power 1 4T 15W-50 1lt or Castrol Power 1 4T 10W-40 1lt. It is a good oil and it only costs 7 euros. Change it every 1700 or 2000 kilometers. Review for a scooter

First time I put Motul 7100 10w/40 on my Suzuki address 125 scooter. I always use full synthetic oil on my scooter. The first impression that Motul leaves me with is a smooth gear change and better low-end pull. Of course, the oil will show its performance after 1000 km. I always change oils every 2000 km while using full synthetic oil, along with an oil filter. In my opinion, there is a huge difference between full synthetic and semi-synthetic oils on the scooter.

I am trying this specific product for the first time, I used the 5100 before, it is much better, the engine runs smoother now. It will show how it holds up after 1000 kilometers, and I say after a thousand because most oils start to leak, like the 5100 which I believe is the worst in the Motul series.

I come back: The oils are excellent, even after 2000 kilometers they haven't leaked or broken, they hold up very well and haven't turned too dark. I believe they are worth it and a very good choice. I don't know if they make the transmission quieter when shifting gears, as I use them in a scooter, specifically in a Suzuki Bourgman 200cc.

Before I bought it, I was using this https://www.skroutz.gr/s/8284211/Motul-5100-4T-10W-40-1lt.html. Really no comparison between the two. I read the reviews and I totally agree with Stathis. I also have an old scooter (Yamaha Crypton from 2000) and I can say that the bike has completely changed in this aspect. It really glides effortlessly on the road, while the gear shifts are very smooth. Indeed, you don't even realize when you change gears. I can't say anything more since I just changed the oil 3 days ago, so if I need to write something else later, then I will come back. However, it is definitely 100% synthetic oil and not old mineral oils, and that says it all.

It is one of the best synthetic oils for scooters that I use on my 2001 Kazer model, and I have covered 100,000 kilometers without a drop. The bike works very well at high RPMs, and when it reaches operating temperature, it goes full throttle. It is much superior to a semi-synthetic oil, and the price compared to the 5100 10-40 is just a few euros!

Hello, I put it in my Crypton X and after 10 minutes it started knocking. I immediately replaced it with Spectro 10-40 and the engine stopped knocking and works perfectly. Maybe the full synthetic oil wasn't suitable for my Crypton X

Excellent oil as recommended by the motorcycle manufacturer due to its viscosity and composition

It meets the specifications of motorcycle manufacturers. Excellent resistance to puncture. Protection of the engine and gearbox. Smooth gear shifting. I have been using it for a while on the Honda ANF 125 Innova Injection and it works perfectly. I recommend it

  • Without much talk, quite good oil, big company, and using it for several years, I have no slightest suspicion of anything negative

  • Tested on an old klr 250 which has very worn camshafts and generally the engine is slightly rough.

  • I tried it during the summer months on the vf185 and it worked great, in the winter we use the 5th one!!!! The engine won't have any issues, it will just sound heavier at the start

  • I put it on a v strom 650
and it's the worst crap I've put on.
First of all, the gears shift hard
and secondly, it raises the engine temperature.
I've done almost 3,000 and now I'm going for an oil change because it keeps getting worse

  • I tried it on my vf125 (10-40) and I have to say that when it's cold, the engine noise is a bit louder and the gears are a bit harder to shift. However, once it warms up, it's fine. Then I tried Castrol Power 1 15-50 and it has better performance, the engine runs smoother and the gears shift better when it's cold. It might be great for other bikes, but for mine, I don't think it worked well
