    With over 50% capacity, it writes at 80-90 MB/s. The temperatures are very good even after prolonged use. It's quiet, although sometimes you can hear a brief characteristic sound (common in hard drives but worrying). In my opinion, if you can afford it, go for a My Passport series - they are more reliable.

    I had the same model with 2 TB. After 2.5 years of casual use, it only displayed the drive letter. After running chkdsk twice and using r-studio, I managed to restore the data to another disk. I tried to format it but it failed. Unfortunately, the warranty was only for 2 years. I saw that many others have experienced similar issues.
