Front Mission Evolved is a third-person action shooter starring engineer Dylan Ramsey, who finds himself caught in the midst of a terrorist attack, conspiracies, and collapsing alliances. Battles take place in urban environments, across the frozen expanses of Antarctica, and in other locations. Wanzers can be customized with weapons, shoulder equipment, and different parts, while weapons can be equipped with abilities such as corrosive or piercing attacks. The E.D.G.E. system activates overdrive mode, increasing the Wanzer’s power and slowing down enemies. The game includes online team-based multiplayer battles of up to 4 vs. 4 and cinematic CGI cutscenes by Visual Works.
