It bakes evenly and we've had it for about 10 years, of course we've already changed the heating elements twice, costing 20 euros each time. It still works perfectly. PS: Eventually the heating element burned out again and we threw it away (in recycling) because the cost went up to 40 euros and it wasn't worth it, we bought a Bosch now and we'll see how it goes.

It is quite bulky but it cooks very well. I cook meat in it, but the fat goes to places that are not easily cleaned

The product was purchased in early March. When I received it, I plugged it in and it heated up a bit and then turned off... This happened every time I plugged it in...

I have had the grill for 6 years and it works every day and nothing has happened to it. I have cooked steaks, burgers, vegetables, sandwiches, and many other things. It has a non-stick surface, removable plates, adjustable thermostat, and grooves to drain the fat. It is easy to store and has a sturdy construction.

I bought this specific toaster for 70€ and after two years of occasional use, it stopped working. I took it to a technician and he found out that there was a cut cable, probably done with scissors at the factory.

I have had it for 5 years and I have not encountered any problems.
I mainly bought it because the plates come off, which is very helpful for cleaning.

Very satisfied at first as it toasts the sandwiches correctly and they are crispy.
But I have taken it for service 3 times in 2 years.
Yesterday was the last time I took it as they told me that the repair cost is 30 euros.
The other two times I paid 20 euros + 25 euros.

The resistance broke just before the warranty expired. It was repaired by the authorized service, but after 6 months the resistance broke again. There is no repair warranty. I do not recommend it.

Far away! I had a smaller model from the company for 4 years and it only fried, it didn't cook! The heating element broke and couldn't be fixed, so I decided to get a bigger and better one from the same company since I was completely satisfied....
I've had it for about 2 years and it rarely cooks....the plates broke on the wing! We even put well-oiled burgers on medium...
wrong! They came out black and uncooked in the first five minutes....I think it's too powerful and the plates can't handle it...what a shame....

I bought a Delonghi CG298.BK from a large store a year ago. Before even a year of occasional use (not daily) and with simple and proper use (only sandwiches and toast without metal forks, spoons, etc.), the material covering the plates started to come off and transfer onto the bread during the cooking process. Extremely dangerous for health!!! Absolutely unacceptable for such a company, but also for an expensive product compared to others of its kind. Even more outrageous is the fact that the store's warranty (for which I paid extra for an extension) does not cover the plates, only the heating element!! The manufacturer's service informed me that I would have to take it to them for inspection and IF they approve, then maybe they will replace the plates with the exact same ones! Thank you very much, but I will not deal with this anymore. I will not buy a device from this company again, nor from the same chain of stores!
