Self-adhesive porous surgical tape made of polyethylene for stabilizing and securing dressings and bandages. It is permeable to water vapor and air, and has an inner surface coated with a controlled uniform adhesive mass that does not come off when the tape is unrolled. Additionally, it is transparent and provides excellent retention, as it removes painlessly without leaving residues on the skin.
