HALO VEST Cervical - Cranial Support System. Consists of:

• Cranial support ring: Made from composite carbon-fiber material, of excellent quality and durability. It features four titanium perforation pins. Three application guides and cervical traction made of carbon fiber.
• "Halo Vest" thoracic splint: Made from shaped polyethylene, internally lined with soft synthetic wool fabric, hypoallergenic. It has adjustable titanium uprights, with which the angling and height of the cranial support ring are achieved. The application of the ring is done with a special torque screwdriver, which allows for grading the pressure of the pins in the cranial cavity (Code 01-2-011 “Torque Driver”).

Indications:

• Type A2 "HANGMAN FRACTURE" fracture
• Comminuted fracture of atlas lateral mass
• Avulsed fracture of atlas lateral mass
• Transverse fracture of the base of the odontoid process with minimal displacement
• Transverse fracture of the occipital condyle
• Explosive fracture of the subaxial vertebral body (A3-A7)
• Atlantooccipital dislocation with minimal displacement
• Atlantoaxial subluxation with minimal displacement
• Unstable "TEARDROP FRACTURE" (A3-A7)
• Traumatic spondylolisthesis (A2-A3)
