I got it for my mobile phone, to connect it to a screen, but then I discovered that THE MOBILE PHONE is not compatible, the accessory works correctly.
For Android, you need to download the free app MHL Checker (check HDMI), and if it shows ok, then the mobile phone can project to a screen through the USB.
To my surprise, the laptop has a USB-C charger, and I connected the screen cable to the accessory, and connected it to the charging port AND IT WORKED! It connected as an external monitor! Now I can have a screen on the charging port and one on HDMI, so 2 external monitors and one for the laptop, 3 screens!!!!
Το πήρα για το κινητό μου, για να το συνδέσω με μια οθόνη αλλά μετά ανακάλυψα ότι ΤΟ ΚΙΝΗΤΟ δεν είναι συμβατό, το εξάρτημα δουλεύει σωστά.
Για android, πρέπει να κατεβάσετε το δωρεάν app MHL Checker (check HDMI), και αν δείξει οκ, τότε το κινητό μπορεί να κάνει project σε οθόνη μέσω του USB.
Προς έκπληξη μου, το λάπτοπ έχει φορτιστή USB c, και συνέδεσα το καλώδιο της οθόνης με το εξάρτημα, και το συνδεσα στην θύρα φόρτισης ΚΑΙ ΔΟΥΛΕΨΕ! Συνδέθηκε σαν εξωτερική οθόνη! Τώρα μπορώ να έχω μια οθόνη στη θύρα φόρτισης και μια στην HDMI οπότε 2 εξωτερικές οθόνες και μια του λαπτοπ, 3 οθόνες!!!!
I initially tried it on an s10+ with various televisions and then with different mobile phones, all usb v3.1. and various televisions. It simply doesn't work.

It works on MacBook Pro and Mac Mini (M1). However, many times I will need to slightly move it (2 out of 3 times I open the Mac) to get a signal on the screen. For the money, it is good since for a reputable and more reliable one, one would need to spend at least 30€.
Δουλεύει σε macbook pro και mac mini(m1). Ωστόσο πολλές φορές θα χρειαστεί να το κουνήσω λιγάκι (2 στις 3 φορές που ανοίγω το mac) για να δώσει σήμα στην οθόνη.Για τα λεφτά βέβαια είναι καλό καθώς για κάποιο επώνυμο και πιο αξιόπιστο θα χρειαστεί να δώσει κανείς τουλάχιστον 30€.
It is not suitable for all devices unfortunately, wasted the euros I spent. They should normally inform their customers which devices it works with.
