Action of the ingredients:

-Propolis, the strongest natural antibacterial substance with more than 300 different compounds, plays a significant role as a local antibacterial and antifungal, protecting against viral and bacterial superinfections, with local anesthetic action, thus providing local immunity. Numerous studies show strong analgesic action of propolis, which is related to the inhibition of inflammatory responses. Other studies have shown that oral administration of propolis reduced the formation of edema and the permeability of capillaries. Research in humans has shown that the use of propolis orally leads to a time-dependent increased immune response without adverse side effects.

-Calendula, due to its high content of flavonoids, polysaccharides, carotenoids, and essential oils, possesses antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties. In vitro studies, the essential oil of the flowers inhibits the growth of Bacillus subtilis, Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Candida albicans, S. aureus, Sarcina lutea, Klebsiella pneumoniae, and Candida monosa.
