An 18-year-old single malt whisky from the Highlands, which matures for 14 years in American barrels and for another 4 years in Oloroso Matusalem and Sherry barrels. It is rich and fruity in taste, while also being spicy with a strong presence of chocolate, orange, and spices. It has aromas of vanilla, dark chocolate, orange, and cinnamon, while on the palate it is oily, with aromas of candied citrus, coffee, pepper, nutmeg, and aged sherry.

    I will simply comment on the price. We are talking about a tragedy of 280 euros for this whiskey. Marketing has destroyed prices along with the already bad conditions in the market. I bought it 3-4 years ago for 117 euros and I consider that to be too much. It is a unique whiskey but it greatly undermines the taste and aroma with its 43%. 3 stars mainly for the potential, although the company has shown that it is moving steadily in the commercial footsteps of Macallan. It is worth trying, but not for that amount of money.
