Generally, for someone who knows what they're doing and has a mouse, it's good. It's not suitable, for example, for your parents, etc. :P
It's really annoying to handle it without a mouse. Buy a wireless one together!
Although the buttons on the remote control are well placed, it won't help much.
For example, with Netflix, it's impossible to turn on subtitles with the remote control because the signal for "forward/backward" is the same as the signal to change the "focus" icon. The good thing is that it has a "mouse mode" but it's very slow (it's the only way to turn on subtitles).
As for the freezing, it froze without reason within 15 minutes of use and I had to restart. The good thing is that it didn't freeze again after that.
As for the speed, everything is relative. You can see that there is a delay in the response of the button, but it's okay. When playing Netflix, there were occasional stutters in HD motion (nothing tragic).
A significant drawback is that you CANNOT update Netflix. It's version 5 and that's it. And this is because Google doesn't allow it. They have released a DRM-something that only allows approved devices to receive updates. I tried to install version 6+ through an apk but it didn't work... :(
This means that if Netflix stops supporting version 5... it's over (I don't know if someone can access it through a browser).
It has Greek language.
(Unrelated, but the Sony Play Store has the Google Play icon :P)
Γενικά για κάποιον που ξέρει τι κάνει και έχει ποντίκι είναι καλό. Δεν κάνει π.χ. για τους γονείς σας κ.λ.π. :P
Πραγματικά είναι πολύ σπαστικό να το χειριστείς χωρίς ποντίκι. Αγοράστε ενα ασύρματο μαζί !
Το τηλεχειριστήριο αν και είναι πολύ καλά τοποθετημένα τα πλήκτρα δεν θα βοηθήσει πολυ.
Παράδειγμα, το Netflix αν θες να βάλεις υπότιτλους είναι αδύνατο να το κάνεις με το τηλεχειριστήριο γιατί το σήμα για το "forward/backward" είναι το ίδιο με το σήμα για να αλλάξει το "focus" εικονίδιο. Το καλό είναι ότι έχει "mouse-mode" αλλά πάει πάρα πολύ αργά (είναι ο μόνος όμως τρόπος για να βάλεις υπότιτλους).
Όσο αφορά τα κολλήματα, χωρίς αιτία μέσα σε 15 λεπτά χρήσης κόλλησε και έπρεπε να κάνω restart. Το καλό έιναι ότι από εκεί και πέρα δεν κόλλησε ξανα.
Όσο αφορά την ταχύτητα όλα είναι σχετικά. Το βλέπεις ότι έχει μια καθυστέρηση στο response του πλήκτρου αλλά είναι οκ. Οταν επαιζε Netflix αραια και που έκανε σπασίματα η κίνηση σε HD (τίποτα το τραγικό).
Σημαντικό μειωνέκτιμα είναι ότι ΔΕΝ μπορείς να κάνεις update το Netflix. Είναι έκδοση 5 και τέλος. Και αυτό γιατι η Google δεν το επιτρέπει. Έχει βγάλει ενα DRM-κατι που μόνο εγκεκριμένα μηχανηματα επιτρέπει να παίρνουν updates. Δοκίμασα να βάλω 6+ από apk αλλά δεν το πήρε.... :(
Αυτό σημαίνει ότι αν το Netfix σταματήσει να υποστηρίζει έκδοση 5... τέλος (δεν ξέρω αν απο browser μπορεί κάποιος να δει)
Ελληνικά έχει.
(άσχετο, αλλά έχει το Play Store της Sony ως εικονίδιο για το Google Play :P )
