The card is decent for studio use. Its output is good and there is no difference in comparison to the previous EMU 0404 that I had for 15 years. Besides listening, mixing, and recording, I also use it as a substitute mixer for amateur wireless radios and it serves me perfectly with its real-time monitor.
However, when the Mix is set all the way to the right to be exclusively an output and not a monitor, it has a very strong noise, maybe even earlier than :10. In real conditions, you never go past :00 since it is almost maximum on the monitors I tested it on, but it would be better if the overall output was quieter instead of having all this noise so early.
The inputs do not have Neutrik connectors, but the job gets done and there is some comfort in adjusting the Gain in combination with the Pad. However, they do not have a mute function (for very loud signals) and they have quite a strong noise after :15 in case a lot of gain is needed.
The ASIO works without side effects, it does not interfere with the WDM nor does it create unrelated problems like many other cards do. The headphone output is satisfactory, although I do not use it extensively to give a detailed opinion.
However, for this price, even 5 stars are not enough. The card is excellent for a variety of uses, not at all quirky in setup, and overall decent. It is exemplary in terms of appearance and size. It requires a little attention to the levels, which is easily accustomed to. It is highly recommended.

I had a Focusrite Scarlet Solo 3rd gen and it had issues everywhere. It would clip for no reason in headphones on Zoom - Skype, and also on YouTube, etc. and required a PC restart (Win 10 Pro) to fix it.
When I saw this one, I also saw its price, the first thing I thought was that we would be fooled because it's not possible to have all these features at such a price..

And even if it costs 200, it's worth it.
Much better sound quality in my headphones (250 ohms) compared to the previous one, and better sound quality in recordings.
And never again any problems with clipping, crackling, noise, etc. during playback.
I don't know why it doesn't work on my friend's Spotify. It works great for me.
The interface is not serious. Okay. But it doesn't matter. It can be customized by the program you will use.
It works with the Asio4all drivers. Behringer sends you to them when you first install it.

As a former owner and user of the Focusrite Scarlett 4i4 (1st Gen) and after 3 months of intensive use of the 404HD, I consider the latter to simply have no rival in terms of value for money/input-output-capabilities, etc.

Many recordings with 4 channels simultaneously (mainly Line), many hours of listening (monitors and headphones), etc. without any issues on 2 different systems with Win10 Pro 64b, so absolutely no issues with the drivers. Absolutely no artifacts such as hiss, noise, etc.

For its price and exactly what it is, it deserves 5 stars. However, I deduct one star for the following reasons:

- UMC Control Panel: in practice, it is not possible to change the Sample Rate from there (the Drop List exists but is not active), essentially only the Buffer Size can be adjusted. OK, obviously it's not the end of the world since most DAWs give you the ability to adjust it from there and they force the sound card, but in general, this is the only drawback (I mean the "poor" control panel) compared to Focusrite specifically.
- Absence of SPDIF in/out. It may not be used by many, but personally, I would like this capability to be present (personally, I would utilize it without meaning that its absence is the end of the world).

Recommended for individuals who absolutely need 4 ins (with or without preamp) and do not want to spend a fortune on an exceptional USB audio interface (and honestly, in this case, there is no reason, save the rest to get better monitors, etc.).
