The purpose of this book is to describe the construction of diesel engines for ship propulsion, delving into design and operational issues, in order to better understand the various construction solutions that meet the demands of marine propulsion applications. It is advisable for the reader to have prior knowledge of the basic principles of internal combustion engines. The book is divided into four chapters, each with its own separate bibliography.
