I wore them continuously on a Ducati Multistrada 620 from 2017 when the odometer read 25,000 km. Now in 2024, the odometer reads 97,000 km, having made along with everything else 5 trips over 5,000 km each abroad.
I had to put on others (Metzeler M7 RR - these are good too) because returning from the Pyrenees - Spain, I absolutely had to change the rear in Italy. Check the photo and you will understand. Despite the wear, it still held up!!! When it warmed up, it was better than suction cups for the cold on the back!!!

I put them on my Suzuki Bandit 650, I lean my knee in corners and they don't feel anything! Now they haven't been tested in rain yet, but I have read that they are reliable even on wet roads.

Coming from the angel gt, I have to say one thing. The diablo are like a suction cup. They heat up much faster.

Description & Specifications

The Pirelli Diablo Rosso II is the second generation of the legendary DIABLO ROSSO™ family, specially designed to offer true sport performance in everyday road riding.

As the predecessor of the DIABLO ROSSO™ III, it combines Bi-Compound technology in the rear tire for exceptional mileage and top grip in corners.

Thanks to the Enhanced Patch Technology (EPT) and Functional Groove Design (FGD) technologies, it ensures maximum contact patch with the road surface and excellent wet grip, providing absolute confidence on every ride.

Sport Performance for Everyday Use

The Pirelli Diablo Rosso II brings Pirelli's racing expertise to public roads, making it the ideal choice for riders seeking a sport feel without compromises.

It is the second generation of the successful series, designed to offer stability, immediate response, and high level of grip for daily commuting as well as demanding rides, setting the standards in the sport tire category.

Bi-Compound Technology in the Rear Tire

The rear tire features a Bi-Compound design, which combines two different rubber compounds for optimal performance.

In the central section, a high-durability rubber is used for long mileage performance and resistance on straights, while softer rubber is applied on the shoulders, offering excellent grip under full lean, allowing the rider to corner with absolute confidence.

Optimized Contact Surface with EPT

The advanced Enhanced Patch Technology (EPT) by Pirelli is the key to the overall performance of the tire. This technology optimizes the geometry of the tire's contact surface with the road at every lean angle. This ensures that the motorcycle maintains the contact patch it needs in every riding condition, offering maximum power transfer and precision in maneuvers.

FGD Tread Design for Wet Road Surface

The tread design Functional Groove Design (FGD) was developed to optimize motorcycle performance on wet surfaces. The specially placed grooves effectively channel water away from the contact patch, reducing the risk of hydroplaning. Thus, the tire offers safe and predictable handling even when weather conditions change suddenly.

Slick Shoulders for Maximum Grip in Turns

In the extreme shoulder area of the tire, the tread design turns into a slick surface without grooves. This design choice ensures the maximum possible amount of rubber in contact with the asphalt when the motorcycle is at full lean. The result is unwavering grip, increased traction, and a high sense of security when exiting corners.

Trust and Precision in Every Turn

The combination of the structure, tread pattern, and advanced materials of the Diablo Rosso II offers the rider a unique feeling of stability and control. Whether it's quick direction changes or prolonged high-speed turns, the tire responds instantly to steering commands, providing the necessary confidence to enjoy every kilometer of your ride.
