Curcumin, the main active ingredient of the supplement (Turmeric), comes from the plant Curcuma longa and its name is due to the deep yellow color of the plant's rhizome. It belongs to the broader family of curcuminoids and daily curcumin can be used in the diet through the consumption of the spice curry. Curcumin has been extensively studied for its anti-inflammatory properties. Additionally, it is considered a digestive stimulant and an antioxidant.

Benefits

The European Medicines Agency (EMA) and the Committee on Herbal Medicinal Products (HMPC) have approved the use of turmeric as a traditional herbal aid for digestion in cases of dyspepsia and bloating and bile secretion disorders.

Dosage

The recommended dose for this supplement is one tablet daily half an hour after a meal.

The tablet should be swallowed whole. Do not exceed the suggested daily dosage.
