However, this button is essentially floating and you have to manually lift it up high (with a spoon, for example, to avoid burning yourself) to let the steam out. Sturdy construction, it is thin and narrow, ideal for the 21.5 cm diameter induction hob. It closes very well, doesn't leak, boils everything very quickly and additionally, if the temperature inside the pot is too high, there is an additional valve that lifts and informs you to lower the temperature. Flawless, prefer it over other branded ones that cost a fortune.
