I have had it for about 6 years with quite frequent use and it is one of the most reliable tools I have bought. It has worked on many cuts and generally through quite a bit of "hard use" without presenting any issues to me up to today. For its size, it has very good power, it is relatively light, and it is quite comfortable in the hand even after long periods of use.
What impressed me the most is that after so many years it continues to work almost like the first day I bought it, without strange noises, vibrations, or a drop in performance. For its price, even though it has gone up a bit, I consider it truly one of the most honest and value for money tools someone can buy.

5 years of use, very good tool, it has paid for itself and more.
It doesn't have tremendous power but it does most jobs.

All good for light tasks only, the only bad point is the switch and the reduced power, as we said, for soft jobs not heavy stuff.

Incredible tool. I've had it for 3 years, it has sanded the whole house. Walls, railings, roof... Everything. It doesn't flinch, it doesn't overheat. There is no other choice.

You can melt it as much as you can, it doesn't understand anything. And obviously, when it heats up, you take a break for a cigarette and continue. I got it for 63.50

I had bought a plate wheel for amateur use and after 2 minutes of operation it burned out (without pressure), I got furious and the next minute I ordered this one, now I use it professionally! It is flawless!

It doesn't seem to want to die, I have worn it out. I wonder how much longer a wheel can withstand so much friction and so many cuts for five years now. I haven't even changed the charcoal

We have melted it in an iron shop, what else can I say!!! It doesn't stick anywhere.. I was cutting for hours and it didn't understand anything.

It is a very good wheel for the money it costs.
It is quieter than others I have, for example, the Metabo makes a lot of noise, but it is far superior in construction.
Its switch is the only downside, a cheap plastic that is frustrating, it does not latch easily and is very annoying during work.
That's why I will only keep it as a backup.
You can't work continuously with such a terrible switch.

It was purchased for floor scrubbing from various residues (scrubbing of dust, cement, and iron). A worthy purchase

Makita is at the top of manufacturers. When it comes to a wheel that you want very good quality, it is the only way to go.

I have had this tool for about 3 years and I use it for light tasks such as cutting and polishing, etc.

I received a Russian one without obvious Greek dealership warranty. I can't know if it's genuine.

A quite good wheel and quite powerful. It worked well for a few days. And it didn't have any issues. Of course, at some point, when it was working and I stopped to change the disc, it stopped working. I thought something happened with the power, but after 5 minutes, it was functioning normally. It probably has temperature protection. But I couldn't find it in the specifications. The future will show. And if needed, I will come back.

At the price of €55 that I bought it, it's worth it.
The only negative thing is that from the very first day, the black plastic handle at the bottom is loose. Now, I don't know if it's a manufacturing mistake, but it's quite annoying.

Perfect tool and reliable! We have it at work as a second wheel balancer. However, I use it as my main wheel and I bought it for myself for amateur use! It's worth 100% !!

In its category, it does everything right. It didn't bother me at all. For amateur use but also professional to some extent, it won't disappoint. I believe it's a good purchase. Time will tell, of course.

After 4 years of use, I can have an informed opinion about this specific tool. I am not a professional, but I have cut many meters of solid iron 8mm and 10mm for the constructions I do, and I can say that this particular wheel is a durable construction. It lacks a little in power compared to another wheel with 1000 watts, but it will never disappoint you. Its quality is at very high levels and its size fits perfectly in the hand.

Do not expect anything special. It is cheap for a 125 Makita, but obviously it is a series for amateur work. I use it occasionally with a Benman wire brush and I can say that it does the job, but for large surfaces/heavy work it does not have enough power.

The tool is very good, suitable for frequent amateur use!
Ergonomic in grip due to its diameter, it doesn't make noise and as for its weight... yes, it is a bit heavy because it is a tool made with good materials and not junk... it's Makita!!
And last but not least, the price is special!!!

It is perfect for one-handed use. It is convenient for tight spaces. A great advantage is the soft start and the safety feature to prevent it from moving forward when unplugged.

As already mentioned, it has a soft start and restart protection. Now, for its price, it is very good and with a small diameter of the body so that you can comfortably hold it with one hand.

Time will tell about its durability.

Update 20/8/2020: The first one I initially bought works perfectly as a wheel for cutting copper and iron in a professional environment, without any signs of wear. I also bought a second one which I have been using for hobby grinding quite a bit in the past few days, with the grinding disc that comes in the box as well as with a flap disk. Its metal head gets quite hot when working on grinding for more than 20 minutes continuously, but it withstands it. As for the power, it is just as the wattage announced by Makita. You can work on grinding and apply pressure within reasonable limits without losing speed.

Soft start and anti-restart..... This tool doesn't understand anything, it never stops and has the lowest noise level..... Hurry up and get a free professional tool....
