It is an excellent stove, quite economical for oil of course, and it heats very well up to 50 sqm. It turns a small room into an oven. It needs to be turned off outside and ideally paired with a dehumidifier with an ionizer. It is easily portable and if you turn off the lights, it creates a very warm atmosphere. I think it is the top stove of Kerosan, as the others burn too much. I also have the Kerosan omni 230 g in an 80 sqm apartment, which smells due to poor insulation, and I mainly use that one. It doesn't turn the house into an oven, but it creates an environment where you don't feel cold. However, on very cold winter days in these specific square meters, you need to take it with you from room to room.

In combination with a dehumidifier and always using kerosene instead of oil, you have economical heating and beautiful lighting!! It has great portability and does not smell as long as you do not extinguish it inside the house, and as long as you lower the flame intensity while it is in operation!! It is durable but requires proper storage of kerosene, as well as the stove itself, during periods of non-use!! Just like an air conditioner, it manages to reduce humidity levels inside the house to a good percentage and also makes the wall release any excess moisture that may exist!! Finally, it is cost-effective to purchase a reusable kerosene bottle to save 4 euros per 18 liters!! Prefer regular kerosene over odorless kerosene as it has a better flame and therefore better performance, as well as less wear on the wick!!

I have used both the older and the more advanced model, and I can say that it is more than satisfactory for my needs.
It heats up, doesn't smell, and lasts for years. The old model that I have is purchased since 1988 and works perfectly! I recommend it!

It is a commendable stove ... That if you know how to use it correctly, it delivers what you expected according to its specifications ...
To avoid any smell, you should light it outside, leave it for 10 minutes, and then bring it into the room.
When you want to turn it off, you should take it outside on the balcony and gradually extinguish it (slowly) ...
I am very satisfied with its performance even though my living room is 65 square meters because I simultaneously use a dehumidifier and the result is efficient ...
    I highly recommend it .... That's why I give it 5 stars !!!

Very economical 0.25lt/hour. I use it as an alternative to the 230, which I leave for 2 hours to warm up the house and then it takes over to maintain the warmth. The absolute VFM.
    08/12/2017
I am in the third year of using it and I can say that it is a truly successful purchase. Especially since I purchased a dehumidifier, the OMNI-230G has almost been dismantled and I am fully covered with the Rainbow.
Of course, the review concerns the square meters covered by this specific stove. If you want to cover larger spaces, you will have to go for other solutions or use it alternatively like I do.
I exclusively buy fuel from the company.
The lighting and extinguishing always take place on the balcony to avoid odor.
    17/01/2020
TIP: Every three refills, let the stove burn all the fuel in order to self-clean the wick. This way, the wick remains like new. Four years and I haven't had to replace it!!! Also, unscented kerosene is not suitable for this type of stoves.

    Good evening,
I have had the Rainbow for 2 winters now and I can say that I am very satisfied with the warmth it provides. Additionally, the lighting it offers creates a very beautiful atmosphere. If you know how to use it correctly, you won't get a headache and the space won't smell. It is good to use it outside, for example on a balcony, and be careful not to spill the fuel. Using a funnel really helps. The extinguishing should be done gradually, simply by lowering the wick over a period of 5 minutes. This way, it has never smelled for me. So when I see people criticizing the product, it's like seeing someone complain about an oven because they put their child inside and it got burned?!! :P
However, it definitely helps to open the window a little for ventilation, as oxygen is consumed during combustion.

Perhaps the best kerosene stove with a wick. In reality, it smells very little of kerosene in the space and it depends on how sensitive each person's nose is to either love it or hate it. Also, very positive is its relatively small weight, which makes it easily portable. Lighting and extinguishing can be done indoors because it is completely odorless (at least in larger spaces). For more sensitive individuals, extinguishing it in an outdoor area is sufficient. It is good to calculate for heating a smaller space than recommended by the company and always in a uniform manner. Finally, before anyone decides to use it for heating, it is good to consider the space needed for fuel storage, the method of fuel supply, and the filling of the stove (not very frequent but proportional to usage).

I bought this stove 4 days ago for a space of about 30 square meters on a low heat setting. It heats up quite well, although it hasn't been very cold in Athens yet. The consumption is 1 liter for every 4 hours approximately at moderate intensity. I used lamp oil from a fuel station and there is no smell. I will also try the company's fuel to see the difference

Well, since I have had this for almost 21 years, I will say that it is worth its money for those who have a studio apartment up to 25 square meters or want it for a room or supplementary heating with another source, such as an air conditioner. It is very good and a monster of economy, running for approximately 26 hours with about 6 liters of fuel, always from my mom. Not to mention that if you turn off the lights, it creates a nice atmosphere. For those who complain about the smell, I suggest they light it outside the house and let it self-clean every 4 refills.
