    I have the older model for over 15 years, I have sanded wood, putty, and anything else that can be sanded with an orbital sander. I haven't even changed the carbon brushes, in fact, it might be the only tool I own that I've never opened to see what's inside. I imagine that with an internal cleaning from the putty, it could become about half a kilo lighter. So, it is very powerful, reliable, and durable.

    On the negative side: it is excessively noisy and in some applications, it would be very useful if it had speed adjustment. Anyone who doesn't want flaws should choose Bosch
