    Excellent tent for the mountains with cold and humidity. Very good tent. It wasn't available anywhere in khaki.

    It's a little heavy but okay, it's for 3 people, so that's logical. It needs a little light on the ceiling, which is perfect so that light doesn't come in in the morning and wake you up.

    Whoever bought it for summer at the beach bought the wrong tent. It's for the mountains, autumn, spring, winter. Not ideal for trekking because of the weight if you have a long hike. 5 stars!!

    Comfortable for 2 people with two large bags or three people (2 adults, one child). In no case is it suitable for three adults unless you want to get closer.

    Setting up/taking down is easy; I did it the first time in 5 minutes.

    Weight and volume are fine for three people. For this price with 3000 protection, for 3 people and branded, there is no other option because I searched quite a bit; you need over 180 euros.

    Finally, after 15 days of free camping, I realized that the tent is simply perfect!!!
    The size and weight are super, just 50 cm in length and it fits easily in the motorcycle suitcase, weighing only 3.4 kg.
    The construction quality is perfect, after 4 hours of heavy rain, not even a drop!
    The ventilation is very good, I would say that the tent is 4 seasons! Just in the hot summer, you don't put on the nylon and it remains pleasantly cool!
    And the appearance is very beautiful!!
    Guys, I would easily buy it again!!!

Double Canvas

The tent contains 2 separate layers, which are placed one on top of the other on its roof or upper part.

Construction

The exterior and interior cover of the tent has undergone special treatment with a flame retardant which delays the spread of flames if any fall on the tent. The small vestibule of the Darwin 3 is very practical for your shoes and camping gear. Inside the tent, there are side pockets for storing small items, while at the top of the tent are the 2 vents.

Material

The cover is made of 185T 68D polyester, which offers excellent waterproofing up to 3000mm of rain. The inner fabric is made of breathable 185T 68D polyester. The tent floor is made of PE, 120 g/m². The seams on the cover and the floor are waterproofed for maximum durability and tightness.

Fiberglass frame

The frame made of fiberglass is a common choice for the construction of camping tents. It is a lightweight and durable material, made from fiberglass fibers that are usually coated with polyester to protect them from water and moisture.

Fiberglass is flexible, so the frame can be lightweight and flexible to support the tent fabric.

What does the waterproof rating on camping tents indicate?

The waterproofing of a tent indicates how much water its outer fabric can repel. It is measured in millimeters (mm) and refers to the number of millimeters of a vertical water column (and thus pressure) that one square centimeter of fabric can withstand without being penetrated by water.

The higher the degree of waterproofing, the less breathable the fabric is, and thus the warmer the tent. Common waterproofing values range from 500mm to 10000mm. What do the characteristics Polyester 185T and 68D mean?

They are indicators for comparing the durability of two fabrics made from the same material

T means Thread which refers to fiber, and the number indicates the sum of the vertical and horizontal fibers in a square inch of fabric (see photo). The higher the Thread count, the denser the weave and the greater the fabric's durability.

D means Denier and it is a unit of measurement for the thickness of a thread. A smaller denier means a finer fiber, while a larger denier means a thicker, more durable fiber. To calculate the Denier of a polyester fiber, a piece 9,000 meters long is weighed, and the resulting grams are the Denier of the fiber. Therefore, if a 9,000-meter-long polyester fiber weighs 210 grams, then its Denier is 210.
