However, it makes a lot of noise, mainly a loud humming sound, and it is not stable, meaning it shakes quite a bit around its axis, to the point that we are afraid it might fall, but upon inspection, it does not seem to have such a problem. I have also removed the glass of the lamp because it made noise due to synchronization, while the lamp is not strong enough for a 10 sq.m room. The installation has been done on a sloped wooden ceiling on a beam. It has 2 cords that you pull, one for the light, the other for the speed of rotation. The direction change, for winter - summer, is done with a switch at the base, so it is not easy to change it if you have it high up, like I do. It also requires an extension of the chain if you have it very high, while the low speed does not create much air then.
