Instead of these, I wrapped the clips with electrical tape

The rack has very good support. I put 2 bicycles on it and it holds them comfortably without them moving at all. A significant drawback is that at the point where it rests on the trunk, even though it has sponges, it has left marks on the paint. It's as if the paint burned there from the friction

Great attention for some cars where the rear luggage door does not have a frame but glass, the strap cannot be attached. Other than that, it is very good and sturdy, I have loaded two large bicycles without any problem or worry. I have applied additional foam tape like on racing bike handlebars for extra protection of these, as well as additional tying of the bikes to each other and to the rack
