I had these specific headphones 7 months ago and I use them purely for gaming! Well, where do I start and where do I end! Firstly, they are very annoying to the ear after a while, my ears start to hurt and I had to take many breaks from gaming! Secondly, the 7.1 that they have is not compatible with all motherboards, I have the MSI B550 MAG Tomahawk, so the box they have for me is useless.. I have talked to the manufacturing company and they couldn't even help me.. personally! Never again HyperX! It's the worst!

I am sorry, I have had these specific headphones for 3 months now and I bought them for 60€. Guys!! They are quite big, definitely not suitable if you have a small head like mine because due to the style of the headphones, they put a lot of pressure on the area around the ear and they also have hard cushions. They have a very satisfactory bass, poor external sound isolation, and good quality. The microphone has terrible voice cancellation, you can hear even the user's breath very loudly, so I had to keep the microphone far away from my mouth so as not to disturb. After 5-6 hours of CS GO gaming, my ears were hurting even though I had the volume at 20%. I recommend getting the HyperX Cloud II or Steel Series headphones, which are superior in many aspects.

Very good headphones. They don't have particularly strong bass, but they have the right bass so they can be used for music as well as gaming. They are analog, so they can be connected to any device.

I have bought a second set in case it needs to be used for the second PC in the house.

Their negative, in a way, is the metallic frame that transfers vibrations.
They are not tiring and they really sit on their own, they don't need adjustment. I would buy them again, personally I don't mind the metallic frame. I tend to prefer it actually.
For gaming, they are superb. I have also tried them with an electric guitar amplifier. Honest performance at low-medium volumes.

Don't buy these headphones, they are a mess.
    - The microphone has issues after a few months.
    - Noises due to poor design of the metal construction.
    - The sound is just okay for its price. Forget about surround sound.
    - The sound adjustment on the cable makes it heavy and annoying.
The Plantronics 7.1 headphones I had before were three times better in every aspect, and I got them for the same price.

  • The only negative thing I noticed about the headphones is their weight, but after a few days, you get used to it and it doesn't bother you at all, except when moving your head

I bought it on Black Friday (one of the few things worth it) and for the money I paid, it's great (69 euros). If you're willing to spend that much, it's better to go for the Cloud 2 (they are slightly more comfortable). Overall, it has very good construction, relatively heavy but I hardly feel it, quite comfortable, with perfect sound, a good construction by HyperX but not the best choice for the money. Far better microphone than the Cloud 2, although not as elegant if you just want to use them with your phone outdoors (I have no issue with that).

Personally, they didn't suit me at all. They are very heavy and large headphones. The cable touches my neck and bothers me, the microphone needs to be attached to the headphones every time you want to use it and it doesn't hide inside or fold like other headphones. Every time I wear them, I get a headache.
