I couldn't believe how poorly constructed it was, especially for such an instrument. Defective, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Sharp edges, very sharp. Very low Chinese quality, like something from a street fair.

It came with a dead battery. I know why. It has a wiring problem. The slightest move will turn it on. For the money paid, it is not worth sending back I just remove the battery after use. It works fine otherwise.

Overall, it is okay.
I have tested the accuracy of this caliper with known length samples and even with hard samples it is spongey and results in ±0.1mm depending on pressure. With a steady hand, and very slow movements (as fast ones cause measuring errors), you can reliably get the precision to ±0.02mm which is worth the price. For student use it is perfectly fine considering the price but if you can afford it, invest in slightly higher quality. One flaw is the inability to accurately track fast movements so you must turn the dial very slowly until you reach the measuring surface, kind of annoying and easy to create deviations, especially if you zero on a surface first when checking the difference.

Cheap material, lacks accuracy, measures the same dimension with different range, not big but different, and yesterday after less than 6 months with minimal use it broke. It doesn't turn off but remains in operation and the numbers on its panel go crazy. Cheap product, so... throw your money elsewhere.

They sell the same in the market. Average assembly, rough-cut edges, hasty Chinese construction. It may measure, but its finish and its joints do not allow consistency. It's three stars and that's a lot.

Many calipers have passed through my hands due to work. I decided to buy a cheap digital one for simple use outside the laboratory. I didn't want anything special. I thought it couldn't be as bad as described in the reviews here. My mistake. It is much worse than they describe here. It is astonishing how it shows such inaccurate measurements everywhere. Of course, as soon as I got it, it didn't work because the battery was dead, and luckily there was another wasted one inside the packaging that fortunately worked... I kept it because it is impressively of humiliating quality and I will show it to colleagues to laugh...

This particular caliper is fake. The original calipers are made by goobay, a reputable company in New Zealand, England, and Australia.

Only for amateur use, very poor construction and because of this difficult to use (crooked wheels, uneven rolling, misalignment of ruler with display screen after zeroing, poorly aligned materials) at half the price it would be VFM.

Unacceptable construction quality. Unacceptable deviations...!!! The only thing worth is its packaging. It is a caliper only in name....!!!

Avoid buying it.

The caliper is of very poor quality, but don't expect professional instrument quality at this cost.
It requires a steady hand, proper calibration, and a lot of patience, as the contacting surfaces are not even and the instrument reacts very easily to pressure.
However, with a little effort, the accuracy and repeatability can be improved from ±0.10mm to ±0.01mm (I tested it with fillers up to 0.02mm).
For its price, it is good, purely for amateur use. If anything arises over time, I will come back.

Advantages:
The clear digital display, readable even for me with vision problems who often don't have my glasses on.
The 150-mm covers a wide range of measurements.
Construction and appearance of a regular caliper.
Disadvantages:
Unstable movement of the mechanism. Maybe I'm missing something in its use. I didn't deal with it much.
Poor measurement repeatability due to mechanism tolerances.
If you press a little, even in a hard test, the digital display changes. This reduces the actual accuracy to about ±0.15.
With good practice, you may achieve an accuracy of ±0.05

The worst thing anyone could buy. It is so faulty that it gives a different measurement outside and a different one on the inside. I didn't expect to buy a cheap product for 6 euros, but not like this...

Very good construction relative to its price. Good packaging. Overall satisfied with the purchase.
